“Strengthening Health Resilience in Public Health System After Peak of Covid-19 Pandemic”
The Faculty of Public Health, University of Diponegoro (FKM UNDIP) raised the theme in the International Conference of Public Health-Tropical and Coastal Development (ICOPH-TCD) in 2022 with the topic “Strengthening Health Resilience In Public Health System After Peak Of Covid-19 Pandemic”. The conference was held online on 30th – 31st August 2022. ICOPH-TCD is an international conference regularly held by FKM UNDIP since 2016. Collaboration of various speakers from various countries, as well as presenters who presented papers related to public health in the realm of Biostatics and Population, Health Promotion, Occupational Health and Safety, Reproductive Health, Epidemiology and Tropical Diseases, Community Nutrition, Environmental Health, and Health Administration and Policy. The international conference also opens opportunities for collaboration between Universitas Diponegoro in general and the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro in particular in research, visiting lectures, student exchanges, and various health and educational institutions in various countries. In this conference, a call for papers was also held which aimed as a forum for the dissemination of research on public health and to increase the number of quality publications in international proceedings.
The keynote speaker at this event was the Director General of Disease Control and Prevention, Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. dr. Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, DHSM, MARS with the topic “ Best Practice to Overcome COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia”. There were also speakers from health experts from various countries in the world, such as:

- Prof. Amanda Lee (University Queensland) – “Nutrition Resilience During Covid-19 Pandemic”

- Prof. John Parrish-Sprowl, Ph.D. (Indiana University Purdue University) – “How to Manage COVID-19 Infodemic?”
- Hanifa Maher Denny, BSPH, MPH, PhD (Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia) – “Work-life Balance during COVID-19 Pandemic”
- Mohammad S. Jalali, PhD (Harvard University) – “Simulation Modelling of Data Science in Public Health”
- Dr. Rafdzah Ahmad Zaki (University of Malaya, Malaysia) – “Covid-19 Situation and Its Control in the World”
- Dr. Khadizah H.Abdul Mumin (University of Brunei Darussalam, Brunei Darussalam) – “ Strengthening Maternal and Child Health Resilience in New Normal Era”
The ICOPH-TCD 2022 participated by 297 participants who come from various institutes in Indonesia and other countries such as the USA, Malaysia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Taiwan, Ghana, and Sri Lanka. Several articles from this research were published mostly in The Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Medicine and Public Health and BIO Web of Conference Proceeding.
