ICOPH 2018 “Public Health Empowerment for Coastal and Tropical Regions to Achieve SDGs”
The 2nd ICOPH-TCD “Public Health Empowerment for Coastal and Tropical Regions to Achieve SDGs” was held on July, 30-31 2018 in Semarang, Central Java. There were 8 speakers invited with various expertise from several countries. The speakers were:

- Hanifa Maher Denny, BSPH., MPH., PhD. – Dean of Faculty of Public Health Universitas Diponegoro
- Prof. Yothin Sawangdee, PhD. – Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, Thailand
- Dr. Reece Hinchcliff – Centre for Health Service Management, Faculty of Health, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia
- Prof. Stanley Gordon Fenwick – SEAOHUN Tufts University, US
- Keiko Osaki – Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan
- Prof. Drh. Wiku Bakti Bawono Adisasmito, MSc., PhD – INDOHUN Coordinator, Indonesia
- Prof. dr. Tjandra Yoga Aditama, SpP(K), MARS., DTM&H., DTCE – Senior Advisor WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia
The 2nd ICOPH-TCD also invite participants to submit their abstracts and present in as the presenter, both oral presenter or poster presenter. There were 194 participants which participated as the oral presenter, and 36 participants for the poster presentation. The participants in the 2nd ICOPH-TCD were not only from Indonesia, there were also a few presenters from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The selected articles from The 2nd ICOPH-TCD were published in Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development.
